All Hope Cooper needed this year was to have the kind of Christmas her family always cherished. But with her parents gone and her only brother having to work, it doesn't look like it's going to work out for her. There's nothing she can do about her parents, but she most certainly can voice her annoyance at her brother's boss for making him work out of town all through the holidays.
Beckett James hates the holidays and everything that goes with them. They were important at one time, but now the only thing that mattered was his company and its continued growth and anyone who worked for him better feel the same way. If not, they could find employment elsewhere and good riddance. With a major expansion deal on the line, Beckett needs to focus. What he doesn't need is Hope to come barging into his mountain retreat demanding that her brother come home immediately due to an emergency.
Suddenly it's two alone in a snowstorm. Two alone for Christmas. And two alone to fight an attraction that had been there all along. Hope soon begins to realize she may have misjudged Beckett while he comes to see that there really is something special and magical about Christmas. But once they leave their private winter wonderland and return to their normal lives, will the magic still be there?

Hope feels like her brother, Ted's, boss takes advantage of him. He works long hours and has almost no personal life. They lost their parents a few months ago and she's been looking forward to Ted and herself spending the holiday's together. She's very upset when she finds out not only is Ted is going away working for the holiday's but so is his fiance Merry.G.B. (Beckett) James is a workaholic and expects a lot out of his employees. He doesn't see the issue expecting an employees to work over the holidays as he is also working.
Merry is injured in an accident so Hope makes a trip to the lodge when Beckett and Ted are working to get Ted as no one is able to reach them by phone. Unfortunately Ted takes off in Hope's car leaving her stranded with Beckett.
Beckett has closed himself off from his siblings because they want to take advantage of him financially.
The more time Beckett spends with Hope the more he opens himself up to enjoy the life around him.
It was hate at first sight but it's not long until love is in the air.

This was a sweet and romantic Christmas story. Hope goes to find her brother at his boss's cabin to let him know about an emergency. Although that is the last place she wants to go because she can not stand his brother's boss Beckett. She thinks Beckett is rude and pushey and take advantage of her brother and makes him work way to much. When Hope ends up stuck at Beckett's cabin with him that's when the fire works fly. Loved this story!!!
Hope meets Beckett at her brother's work and is very attracted to him. They spend a few hours together, but he does not call her. The holidays are especially difficult for her this year since her parents died four months ago and her brother is working long hours for a demanding boss. Hope is alternately angry and giggly through the entire book, even though she describes herself as even tempered.
I love when you find a book where you feel so in tune with the characters. I felt that way with Hope. There were several times in the book were I actually felt my anger rising with hers. I wanted to reach in and chock someone. I love that feeling. To Me that's when I know I found a good book and that what bring me back to read more books by that author. Winter Park is a anger turned to romance book. I love the issues with there families they have through out the book. I think we all can relate to them from time to time. I absolutely loved the book and will definitely share it.
What a wonderful Christmas story that will warm your heart. Beckett is a real life scrooge and Hope turns him around with her love for Christmas. Hope treasures family, even though it is just her and her brother and Beckett has nothing to do with his family. This book will show you the power of love that Hope has and hopefully will get Beckett to see there is more in life than his work.
I highly recommend this book for a wonderful read this holiday season.
Moonlight in Winter Park is another enjoyable holiday story. Hope and Beckett get stranded, and this is one of my favorite kinds of stories. You can't help but get sucked into this story. Don't miss this one!
Moonlight in Winter Park was a pretty good book. In the beginning I absolutely hated Hope. I found her very annoying, the way she talked about her brother's boss, to people at his company mind you, really ground my gears. Though it was funny how she was talking bad about him to him. I found Beckett very cute but I did agree with Hope's image of him. He was a pretty big jerk with no sympathy, but his character development was wonderful. I agreed with Beckett about how he dealt with his jerk siblings and although he should have called them and not let their problems fester for years, his siblings were in the wrong and should have called him. I thought the ending was really sweet. Moonlight in Winter Park reminds me of all the TV Christmas movies I love to watch. I wish I was able to read this during the Christmas season, but I still loved it and will probably read it again.
All Hope Cooper wanted was to spend Christmas with her brother, her only living family. Having lost their parents a couple of months ago, Hope is still reeling from the loss and Ted is busy working long hours for the beast of a boss! She is royally pissed that Ted’s boss can be immune to the festivities and family time. Not to mention that he even rejected her business proposal for a café in one of his hotels. So it’s no wonder that Hope is livid, frustrated and mad beyond reason with Mr. ‘Beast’ James!!!!
Beckett “Beast’ James hates the holidays and everything that goes with them including his own family. Experience and expectations has made him wary of relationships and he shut his heart to love, empathy and family. His only focus is to grow his business and he does it with narrow-minded intensity, leaving no room for any other feelings or any distractions, be it the beauty herself.
Circumstances leave Hope with Beckett at his ski lodge and the attraction that flares between cannot be doused by the snowstorm outside. As they give into each other under the moonlight, Beckett and Hope explore their feelings trying to hold the magic in the air. But with opinions resting on two ends of the spectrum, it is only a matter of time before the winter wonder disappears.
Samantha Chase pens another sweet story of love between two contrasting people, with different ideologies. When people fall in love, there is always a middle ground, and between all the frustration, impatience and shouting, Beckett and Hope sure find a common ground. Samantha did a fine job with her characters, and don’t be surprised if you want to pull your hair out at their antics and feel like screaming at them to get over their stupidity…OMG!!!! Caught myself doing it…. ;)
